Updating

Download the new version and keep your settings.

What each version changes is on the Changelog page. Read the notes before you update; some versions add new settings to config.lua.

  1. Back up config.lua and the locales/ folder.
  2. Download the latest version from the Cfx.re Portal.
  3. Delete the old folder and put the new one in the same place.
  4. Carry your saved settings over to the new config.lua. New settings can stay at their defaults.
  5. If the release notes mention an SQL change, run the file they name.

The Portal always offers the latest version of a script. Keep your backup in case you need to go back to an older one.
